After celebrating 25 years of KIC FM and taking a short break away from the air, we’re renewing our commitment to young people as we get ready to relaunch under the new name of KIC Radio this summer!
KIC has worked with over 25 thousand young people since forming in the late 90’s. Our journey continues as we prepare to launch KIC Radio, a dedicated 24/7 radio station for young people this summer live from Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy in Walsall.
We want to hear from young creative people in the West Midlands! Whether you want to have a go at presenting or learn the ropes of what it’s like to be a broadcast journalist, KIC is THE place for developing new skills, building confidence and meeting new people.
A recruitment event is set to take place at the Ormiston Shelfied Academy on Monday 10th June from 5pm where young people aged between 15-24 are able to find out more about KIC, meet the team & hear about the opportunities it offers.
