KIC Inspire
Free Opportunity – Calling all 16–21 year olds!
Looking to build your confidence, boost your skills, and take a real step toward your future career? KIC Inspire is here to help you shine!
Our brand new volunteer and training programme is the perfect way to explore radio and podcasting while developing the skills employers love. Get hands on experience in production, broadcasting, podcast creation, and event management - plus opportunities in presenting, reporting, and managing websites and social media. Whatever your interest, we’ll help you grow it into something you can proudly put on your CV.
KIC Inspire isn’t just about creativity - it’s about giving you the tools, confidence, and experience to take your next step into the world of work. Along the way, you’ll earn volunteer certificates and accredited qualifications that show employers you’re motivated, skilled, and ready for the workplace.
Through our KIC Inspire Awards Programme, you can work towards a Level 1 Award and Level 2 Certificate in Skills for Working in Digital Industries, accredited by AIM Qualifications. Build up your volunteer hours, gain real industry experience, and celebrate your progress at our recognition events.
We’re passionate about amplifying youth voices and helping young people develop the confidence to speak up, take action, and lead. From broadcasting to youth audiences to taking our mobile podcast studio and digital graffiti wall into the community, you’ll tackle real issues like knife crime and mental health - building communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills along the way.
So… what are you waiting for? Join KIC Inspire and take a big step toward your future. Sign up and "kic-start" your journey today!
